Description
Herb Valley aluminium free deodorants are suitable for most people and particularly those who wish to avoid aluminium and the astringent action of anti-perspirants.
This Herb Valley deodorant is aluminium and paraben free. While the active ingredients act to reduce odour causing bacteria, the combination of essential oils and fragrances provide long term and effective management of odour for both men and women.
Our deodorants have two main active ingredients:
- Farnesol - a naturally extracted deodorising agent.
- Witch Hazel - a mild astringent.
Deodorants versus Anti-Perspirants
Deodorants
- Work by eliminating or decreasing the proliferation of bacteria on the surface of the skin.
- Allow the body to continue functioning normally whilst killing bacteria and eliminating body odour.
- Generally contain fragrances to enhance or mask the odour resulting from perspiration.
Anti-perspirants
- Stop or retard the operation of sweat glands and reduce the amount of perspiration. When an antiperspirant is put onto the skin, it diffuses into the sweat ducts to form a substance that interacts with sweat compounds and effectively inactivates sweat glands.
- Work by suppressing the normal (and essential) function of the body to produce sweat. Aluminium (used in many popular deodorants) is an astringent - a chemical that constricts the opening of sweat glands.
Fragrance
Fresh Spice and Native Flowers - Patchouli, wildflower and honey suckle fragrances.

Roll on - Aqua (water), alcohol, Hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) extract, polysorbate 20, glycerin, Chondrus crispus, fragrance, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) oil, Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) leaf oil, Eucalyptus globulus (eucalyptus) leaf oil, farnesol, xanthan gum, benzyl alcohol, salicylic acid, sorbic acid
Pump spray - Aqua (water), alcohol, Hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) extract, polysorbate 20, glycerin, fragrance, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) oil, Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) leaf oil, Eucalyptus globulus (eucalyptus) leaf oil, farnesol, benzyl alcohol, salicylic acid, sorbic acid.
Directions for Use
External use only.
Apply under arms when required.
Shake before use.
Storage
Store in a cool dry place below 300C.
