The Steed Stig series of isolating transformers are specifically designed for converting commercial AC voltages from 240V down to 120V. Used for operating electric or electronic appliances where the voltage of the AC power source are not just matched the input voltage rating that the appliance is designed for.
This series units are electrically isolated between primary and secondary and are mechanically connected to earth through the power source. It converts voltages vis the linear transformer without involving wave form distortion, plus it has installed brass surrounding for stry magnetism shielding, so it is ideal for operating precision electronic and electric appliances without involving audible noise and or magnetic interference.
